HR Officer Training & Development
The Foundation FSSC is a non-profit organization and independent scheme owner with a mission: to provide trust and make an impact in the consumer goods industry.
More than 34.000 organizations worldwide are certified to the FSSC 22000 Scheme for Food Safety Management Systems, including premium A brands. The FSSC 24000 Social Sustainability scheme was published about a year ago. Both schemes contribute to FSSC’s vision to create a better world by helping organizations contribute to the SDG’s. FSSC employs about 50 professionals, half of them work from the Netherlands, the rest from other locations in the world.
The focus of the HR officer will be on Training and Development (T&D) and on providing support to the HR Manager by overseeing the training and growth of all FSSC team members. The HR officer is responsible for developing the talents of the team members to their full potential on individual and organizational needs.
The HR Officer Training & Development will report to the HR Manager. You will work in an HR team with two colleagues.
Key Results Areas
- Provide support to develop and implement HR strategies and processes, specifically for Training and Development, and support the general HR life cycle.
- Address and evaluate individual and organizational development needs aligned with organizational goals and enhance team member skills (via e-learning, on-the-job training, coaching, cross-training, video training, workshops, etc.).
- Create and develop training plans, content material, and effective training methods to support individual growth and career development initiatives.
- Support managers in developing their team members through career plans and pathways.
- Assess the impact of training programs and provide reports and analytics to able to measure the impact and forecast the training budget every year.
- Analyse, improve and adjust existing HR processes and procedures, and design new HR processes where appropriate in consultation with the HR Manager.
- Support in team member’s engagement activities and projects related to training & development.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
The ideal HR Officer:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in HR or a relevant field,
- Relevant experience in HR, specifically training and development or similar,
- Knowledge of HR e-learning platforms and practices.
You are:

- Decisive,
- Fluent in English; read, write, and speak English at a high proficiency level, and you have good interpersonal skills.
