An overview of FSSC’s approach to provide trust and deliver impact to the consumer goods industry
Foundation FSSC is proud to present its first Annual Report. From the beginning, ensuring safe food for everyone has been the center of FSSC’s efforts, with the FSSC 22000 certification Scheme for Food Safety Management Systems as our core business. The mission of FSSC is to be the leading brand that provides trust and delivers impact to the consumer goods industry. We aim to help organizations contribute to the UN Sustainable Development Goals and create a better world. From 2022, FSSC was focused on expanding into social sustainability and making even more of a difference.
In 2021, Foundation FSSC joined the UN Global Compact, a UN sustainability–oriented initiative with more than 17,000 participants in over 160 countries. FSSC strives to advance the ten principles of the UN Global Compact Initiative through our Schemes and the contributions of the Foundation. More information on our contributions can be found on page 18-21 in our Annual Report. Together with the statement of the Foundation’s CEO Aldin Hilbrands in his ‘Welcome from the Board’ on the Foundation’s continued support for the UN Global Compact and its ongoing commitment to the initiative and its principles on human rights, labour, the environment and anti-corruption, the Annual Report serves as FSSC’s very first Communication on Engagement.
The FSSC Annual Report reflects our approach toward providing integrity, trust, and impact to the consumer goods industry.
