Job Opening | Learning & Development e-Learning Multimedia Designer

The L&D e-Learning Multimedia Designer assists with the creation and design of engaging and effective multimedia assets to support FSSC’s e-Learning courses.

The L&D e-Learning application is designed to help educate both direct FSSC colleagues as well as external customers.

Key Result Areas

  • Course Design: Conceptualize, design, and develop visually compelling multimedia content for e-learning courses, ensuring alignment with instructional goals and objectives.
  • Visual Storytelling: Use graphic design, animation, and interactive elements to create engaging and effective learning materials that facilitate understanding and retention of information.
  • Media Production: Produce and edit multimedia assets, including graphics, animations, videos, and audio elements, to enhance the overall learning experience.
  • Collaboration with Subject Matter Experts: Work closely with subject matter experts to understand complex topics and translate them into visually appealing and easy-to-understand multimedia content.
  • User Interface (UI) Design: Design user-friendly and intuitive interfaces for e-learning courses, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable learning experience.
  • Support the deployment of learning programs, including uploading and updating courseware and curricula in FSSC’s Learning Management System (LMS).

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

The ideal L&D e-Learning Multimedia Designer:

  • You have 1-3 years of experience as an Instructional Designer/Learning Experience Designer.
  • You have proven experience in multimedia design, particularly in developing e-learning courses.
  • You have practical experience using Articulate 360 (Storyline and Rise), LMS, and any audio, video, and graphic design tools

  • Are creative
  • Have excellent English skills (Dutch and others are a plus)
  • Know how to make learning experiences clear, concise, and focused, making complex topics simple for learners
  • Can work independently as well as in collaboration with others
  • Are able to follow-up in a timely manner
  • Have proven organizational and project management skills
  • Are interculturally aware and sensitive
