Foundation FSSC and FSSC 22000

Transparent governance structure for your benefit

The FSSC 22000 Scheme is managed by Foundation FSSC and governed by an independent Board of Stakeholders comprising representatives from sectors across the consumer goods industry and related supply chain partners.

To ensure transparency and involvement of the industry, an Advisory Committee makes recommendations regarding several topics, including technical aspects like unannounced audits & food fraud, guidance documents, and Scheme revisions. The Advisory Committee reports to the Board of Stakeholders.

The structure of FSSC 22000

1: Based on ISO 22000

We make use of the ISO 22002 series for sector-specific Pre-requisite Programs (PRPs), such as ISO 22002-100 and  ISO 22002-2 for Catering.
