The new Board of Stakeholders (BoS) decision list has been released with the new decisions applicable to FSSC 22000 Scheme Version 6.
Following on from findings raised during the GFSI benchmarking process, updates to the FSSC 22000 V6 Scheme requirements were necessary. These updates are reflected in BoS decisions #2, 3 & 4.
BoS decision #5: Furthermore, based on a decision by ISO, relevant management system standards were updated on 24 February 2024 to include a requirement on climate control in clause 4.1 and a note in clause 4.2. These changes are also applicable to ISO 22000: 2018 and, therefore, apply to FSSC 22000 as well.
These changes come into effect on 1 April 2024 with the start of audits to Version 6 of the FSSC 22000 Scheme.
