During the GFSI China Focus Day, held on July 20 in Beijing, Fons Schmid, Chairman of FSSC 22000, addressed over 300 participants and explained that the China food industry has embraced FSSC 22000 as it is so close to ISO 22000 .
FSSC 22000 adds some additional product groups specific requirements to the ISO standard and secures that it meets all GFSI additional requirements on governance and auditor competence.
