Due to an increasing demand for new CB applications to the FSSC 22000 Scheme, we have taken the difficult decision to put the process on hold until October 2026.
Important update on application process
In light of the upcoming release of version 7.0 of the FSSC 22000 Scheme in 2026, the Foundation FSSC has made the decision to delay the application process for an additional six months until October 2026.
Accepting applications prior to this new date would require Certification Bodies (CBs) to onboard with both version 6.0 and version 7.0. Based on past experience, we have found that this creates confusion and significantly increases the workload for both CBs and the Foundation FSSC.
Any CB who submitted their application prior to 14 March 2025 will continue to be enrolled in the Onboarding Program; however, applications received after this date will no longer be processed.
We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to ensure a smooth resumption of the application process in 2026.
