Requirements for licensed CBs

Important Information on new CB applications for FSSC 22000:

Due to an increasing demand for new CB applications to the FSSC 22000 Scheme, we have taken the difficult decision to put the process on hold for a period of 12 months until 14 March 2026. Any CB who submitted their application prior to 14 March 2025 will continue to be enrolled in the Onboarding Program. Applications received after this date will no longer be processed.

Application procedure

Becoming a licensed FSSC Certification Body (CB) starts with meeting the CB requirements described in the relevant FSSC Scheme (FSSC 22000 or FSSC 24000) for licensing application as described in Part 4, 2.1 of both Schemes.

If you meet these requirements and are interested in becoming a licensed CB, please complete the specific Scheme-based application document (available below) and email the completed application to us at [email protected] to initiate the CB license process.

Once you return the application form, FSSC will review it. If your application is accepted, you will be enrolled in the FSSC Onboarding Program. We will share more details about this Program after you contact us with your application request.

Be aware: Promoting or selling FSSC certification and audit services is not allowed without a signed license agreement with FSSC for the relevant FSSC Schemes (FSSC 22000 or FSSC 24000).
