As Security Officer at Foundation FSSC, you’ll help drive information security excellence at the world’s leading non-profit certification body for food safety and social sustainability management systems. You’ll help shape how they protect critical information that impacts food safety and social sustainability across the globe, working with cutting-edge security frameworks while collaborating with diverse, international teams. You will report to Harold Nguyen, Quality Manager.
Key Result Areas
In this role, your responsibilities will include:
- Designing FSSC’s ISO 27001-certified Information Security Management System (ISMS) and driving ongoing improvements
- Leading risk analyses and treatment planning to safeguard FSSC’s global operations
- Orchestrating management reviews and audit processes with confidence and expertise
- Developing KPIs and reporting frameworks to demonstrate security value
- Investigating data incidents and ensuring GDPR compliance throughout all processes
- Mentoring teams through security awareness programmes that foster a lasting culture of security
- Managing strategic partnerships with security service providers
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
This role blends technical expertise with strategic thinking, ideal for professionals who excel in collaborative, international settings. You communicate effortlessly in English, a must when engaging with FSSC’s diverse international stakeholders. You understand that great security goes beyond compliance – it’s about enabling business success while protecting what matters most.
Your essential qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information
- Hands-on experience in information security management
- Proven experience in working with an Information Security Management System (ISMS)
- Understanding of ISO 27001:2022 and ISO/IEC 27701:2022 standards
- Expertise in GDPR and risk management
