Operations Assistant

The Operations Assistant provides support to the FSSC management team, the Global team, and to external stakeholders and contributes to an efficient and pleasant work environment.  The Operations Assistant is responsible for practical and administrative tasks and supports the international FSSC team.

You will be working closely together with an experienced direct colleague, the Operations Officer, and you will report to the Operations Director, Melle Koedijk.

Key Result Areas

  • Manage communication channels:
  1. Internal: General support for FSSC team members in answering questions,
  2. External: General support to external stakeholders and answering Helpdesk questions.
  • Assist the FSSC Global team with travel arrangements.
  • Support in planning and preparing meetings and events.
  • Update organizational policies and procedures in case of changes.
  • Responsible for office supplies and facilities.
  • Assist the FSSC Team in operational efficiency, having a good over-all view of the organization and team members’ well-being.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills,
  • Strong planning and organizational skills,
  • Affinity with IT systems, and willingness to learn,
  • Ability to adapt to the business of FSSC; System Certification,
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English at a high proficiency level and ambition to work in an international environment,
  • Experience in administrative, customer, office and/or facility management is a plus.
