The e-Learning Multi Media Designer assists with the creation and design of engaging and effective multimedia assets to support our e-Learning courses. The L&D e-Learning Multi Media Designer will report to Rochelle Rothman, Learning and Development Manager.
Key Result Areas
- Course Design: Conceptualize, design, and develop visually compelling multimedia content for e-learning courses, ensuring alignment with instructional goals and objectives.
- Visual Storytelling: Use graphic design, animation, and interactive elements to create engaging and effective learning materials that facilitate understanding and retention of information.
- Media Production: Produce and edit multimedia assets, including graphics, animations, videos, and audio elements, to enhance the overall learning experience.
- Collaboration with Subject Matter Experts: Work closely with subject matter experts to understand complex topics and translate them into visually appealing and easy-to-understand multimedia content.
- User Interface (UI) Design: Design user-friendly and intuitive interfaces for e-learning courses, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable learning experience.
- Support the deployment of learning programs, including uploading and updating courseware and curricula in our Learning Management System (LMS).
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- You have 1-3 years of experience as an Instructional Designer/Learning Experience Designer
- You have proven experience in multimedia design, particularly in developing e-learning courses.
- You have practical experience using some of the following training tools, including Articulate 360 (Storyline and Rise), Learning Management Systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and any audio, video, and graphic design tools
- You have excellent English skills (Dutch and others are a plus), and you know how to make learning experiences clear, concise, and focused, making complex topics simple for learners
- You can work independently as well as in collaboration with others
- Strategic project management experience
- You have proven organizational and leadership skills
