Since 2009, Foundation FSSC has been a non-profit organization and independent Scheme owner whose mission is to provide trust and make an impact through the consumer goods industry.
More than 35,500 organizations worldwide, including premium A-brands, are currently certified by the FSSC 22000 Scheme for Food Safety Management Systems and the FSSC 24000 Social Sustainability Scheme. Both Schemes contribute to FSSC’s vision of creating a better world by helping organizations to align with the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals.
FSSC employs over 50 professionals. Half work in the Netherlands, and the rest are in other locations worldwide.
Because of the growth of the FSSC organization, we are recruiting for the vacancy of Quality Manager.
Key Results Areas
- Increase and embed quality awareness in the FSSC organization
- Help managers develop efficient quality processes
- Develop, Maintain, and implement measures and policies for an effective ISMS
- Monitor, measure, and improve the effectiveness of the IMS
- Identify, mitigate, and manage relevant organizational risks
- Organize and supervise internal audits and management reviews
- Assist the FSSC Team in IMS tooling awareness and implementation
Performance Goals
- Establish and implement an effective Quality Management System (based on ISO 9001)
- Establish and implement an effective IMS
- Select and implement appropriate IMS tooling and support structure
- Achieve ISO 9001 certification in 2026 while maintaining ISO 27001 certification
The Ideal Quality Manager
Required
- 5+ years of experience being responsible for an ISO 9001-certified QMS
- Able to demonstrate a history of delivering process improvement and project efficiency
- Able to work in an international and culturally diverse organization
- Available for 32 – 40 hours
Preferred
- Experienced as an ISO 9001 Lead Auditor
- Experienced in being responsible for an IMS
- Experienced in LEAN Six Sigma
- Affinity with information security
